Hollerback (“we”) answers phone calls for small businesses (“our customers”) when they can't get to the phone, and passes the details of each call to that business. This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it.

If you called a business that uses Hollerback

When your call is answered by a business's Hollerback assistant, we collect:

We use this only to pass your request to the business you called, to let that business call or text you back, and, if the business asks us to, to call you back on their behalf. We do not record the audio of calls. We don't sell your information, and we don't use it to market anything to you.

Text messages. We only text you if you agreed to it during the call. Mobile numbers and texting consent are never sold or shared with third parties for their marketing. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them.

If you use Hollerback for your business

We collect your name, email, business details, and billing information (billing is handled by our payment processor, Polar; we don't store card numbers). We use it to run your account, send you your jobs, and bill you.

Who we share it with

We use a small set of service providers to run Hollerback, and only share what each one needs:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep call transcripts and job details while the business's account is active so they can look back at their jobs. A business can ask us to delete its data at any time, and we delete it within 30 days of an account closing.
